Start by identifying what kind of scents attract you — floral, woody, oriental, fresh, or citrus. If possible, try a few samples before deciding. Perfume reacts differently to each person’s skin chemistry, so what smells amazing on someone else may smell different on you.

Apply perfume to pulse points like your wrists, neck, behind the ears, and inner elbows where your skin is warm. Avoid rubbing your wrists together after spraying, as it breaks down the scent molecules. For extra longevity, lightly mist your hair or clothing (from a distance).

They differ in concentration and intensity. Parfum (Extrait de Parfum): Most concentrated, long-lasting (8–12 hrs). Eau de Parfum (EDP): Balanced richness and projection (6–8 hrs). Eau de Toilette (EDT): Lighter, fresher version (3–5 hrs). The choice depends on how long you want your scent to last and how strong you prefer it to be.
